So what’s a Rapid Relief Intensive ?

Rapid Relief Sessions are: a structured, streamlined 90 minute therapy session.

Unlike traditional therapy, a Rapid Relief Intensive provides concentrated time—anywhere from a few days to several weeks—for deep therapeutic work in an individual or couples therapy session.

Think of it as a ‘therapy deep-dive’—a powerful, time-out for us to really prioritize our healing.

Intentional space that’s carved out and designed for the modern busy-body.

You get to process, heal, and reset connections in shorter time.

The Process of a Rapid Relief Intensive

  1. 60-90 minute Pre-Intensive Assessment

Before we jump in, we’ll start with establishing our goals for our time together. We'll discuss what's stressors are going on in your life right now—circumstances, relationships, life view, and current challenges—where you're looking for relief?

We target where you want to grow and move forward from.

2. 90 minute Intensive Session

Deep Neuro Processing

With Brainspotting therapy, we’ll find the right ‘Brainspots” in your visual field, guiding us into the neocortex of the brain and body processing. This allows us to gently and intuitively process and release the parts that you want to release, allowing your brain’s natural ability to grow and heal. We'll discover the different types of coping strategies that work best for you. Depending on your unique and personal goals, we might process your past, your present, or even your future worries.

3. Follow up Integration

  • Participating in a 2-3-day Intensive may create impactful change more efficiently than just weekly, 50-minute sessions or even one half-day intensive.

    During your initial consultation and assessment, we will work together to determine the right fit for you.

    Intensive sessions are similar to going on a personal retreat. They’re memorable, impactful, and highly transformative.

    It’s recommended that you fill the time with space that’s unscheduled, unhurried, and catered towards taking care of yourself: movement, nature, being around trusted friends or pets, music, and creative expression.

  • Traditional therapy requires time and energy week after week. You might have noticed that your concern continues to linger. Intensives are for you if:

    • If you've been in talk therapy before but aren't sure why you haven't gotten the level of change you’ve been wanting, intensives would be a good fit.

    • You're looking for a deeper type of therapy that can bring quick changes in your life.

    • You're still affected by painful experiences from your past.

    • You have some time off and want to use it for mental wellness.

    • You've tried Brainspotting or EMDR before and found it helpful.

    • You're preparing for a big life event, performance, or transition and want to be ready.

    • You go to therapy regularly but feel stuck and think an Intensive might help.

    This structure is designed for those who want streamlined relief in 1-3 days, giving you back more of your peace, relief, and time in the long run.

  • Intensive sessions are can be offered Online or In Person.

    Please note I can only work with you if you are in the state of California or Nevada.

    In Person Services Available in the Reno, NV and surrounding areas.

    There are many options for accommodations and dining if you are coming from out of town.

  • Yes, I currently accept these insurances: Kaiser Norcal, Aetna, Optum, United Healthcare, UMR.

    For all other insurances, you may have out-of-network benefits, which means that insurance will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you.

    With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions post-deductible, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. This typically allows clients to save on average 70% upfront on our sessions.

    During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your co-insurance would be.

    Note: Thrizer's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as a therapist, we do not benefit in any way from your participation. It just gives you more options so that you can get the right care.


  • Although Intensive sessions are not covered by insurance, a potion of services may be reimbursed.

    Many insurance companies (typically PPOs) reimburse a portion of the cost of psychotherapy.
